Ballarat Polocrosse

We recently attended the Polcrosse Nationals in Ballarat, Victoria with friends of ours who had family members playing in the nationals.
This is the first time that we have watched the game, so took a few action shots which we thought you might enjoy. The game was invented right here in Australia.
As the name itself implies, Polocrosse is a combination of polo, lacrosse and netball.
It is played on horseback, each rider using a cane stick, made up of a polo stick shaft to which is attached a squash racquet type head with a loose twisted-thread net, in which the ball is carried.
