We recently attended the 3 day convention in Darwin (which is in the Northern Territory of Australia). Darwin is approximately 4 hours flight north of Adelaide and is in the same time zone.

and then we spent 5 wonderful days in the bush - Litchfield, Kakadu and Nitmiluk:

The weather was fantastic, most days between 32 and 37 degrees! Here are just a sampling of the photos showing the great sights that we saw over the 5 day period:
